2 Year Old 15 Hours Free Nursery Funding
Is available the term after your child’s second birthday, this is subject to meeting government criteria. To find out if you qualify telephone the Family Information Service at Gateshead Council on telephone number 0191 4335118. If you qualify come along with your paperwork as requested by the Council and pay us a visit to secure your funded place.

 
3 and 4 Year Old 15 Hours Free Universal Nursery Funding
Every 3 year old child qualifies for the 15 free hour’s nursery funding the term after their third birthday until they move on to reception class in Primary School. The 15 hours can be taken flexible throughout the week and additional hours paid for.


3 and 4 Year Old 30 Hours Free Extended Nursery Funding
Working parents may be eligible for 30 hours free childcare subject to meeting government criteria. To find out if you qualify for this  please go to the Childcare Choices Website, where you will be shown the criteria and complete an application form if you qualify and you will be given a code to bring along to the nursery where you can then secure your place
